From black dress to hot tub – another concert this afternoon…!
Thank you so much, all you singers and dancers who created the 3 hour Genetic Choir and Worldmusic concert this morning in the Muziekgebouw a/h Ij! It was epic, with the slowly changing light above the water as the sun rose and the skyline of Amsterdam behind dancers and singers.
Also big thanks for the intimate collaboration with Daphne Chlimintzas and the Pauni Trio for respectively Greek and Bulgarian music instant compositions in the World Music block of Yinske Silva. And of course the feast of a culmination with Laura Stavinoha’s song-turned-into-jam in the end.
The 24h Resonance Vocal Marathon is still going on, and you can pass by in the Muziekgebouw to hear other great vocal music until 23:00 tonight.
Some of us Genetic Choir singers will now be changing their black suits and dresses for not much more than a towel, and join the Sauna Caravan in Amsterdam North, where the Genetic Choir will give another performance surrounded by hot tubs, this afternoon…
It’s a cosy festival of hot tubs, massages, music, sauna’s in tents and much more…
